Returns Policy for Handmade Hen Website Shop:
In accordance with the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 you have a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period from the day you receive your goods. If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you should notify us within 14 days of receiving your order, that you wish to cancel your contract with us, and a full refund will be given, including any standard delivery charges. Please return the items within the next 14 days after informing us of your wish to return them. Once we have received the items back into stock, we will process your refund. Returning the items by recorded delivery is recommended for your protection. Return postage will not be refunded. If items are not sent back within the 14 day timeframe, a refund will not be given.
Items to be refunded must be returned to us in their original condition, goods must be returned unused. Please fill out the cancellation/refund form or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to advise us that you are returning your items or with any questions regarding refunds. If items are returned that have clearly been used, we reserve the right to charge a small amount to cover the cost of returning the item to a saleable condition. This amount will be deducted from your original payment.
It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact us.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If an item is found to be damaged or faulty then please contact us to arrange returning it for a full refund. For your protection sending the item by recorded delivery is recommended, return postage will be refunded. We will process the refund once we have the items back to our workshop. The items need to be returned within 30 days, from when you notified us that you wished to return them. Failure to return the items to us in this timeframe will mean that you won't be refunded.
Bespoke or Customised Items
Please note: For any ‘bespoke’ or ‘personalised’ items that are purchased, the regulations state that they are ‘non-refundable’. These include items that are made to order and include personalisation with names, or dates, or personal text.
